Traditional mat-based yoga
A slow-flow yoga class that emphasizes proper alignment and listening to your body. Warm up with breath and movemnet. Seamless connection of asanas throughout the practice building flexibility, strength, and balance. Ending with a peaceful sivavasana, and something thoughtful for you to contemplate. Modifications always offered to meet each students needs.
Both the Yoga class and the Strength & Balance class are supported with a chair. These classes are perfect for older adults, and those with physical limitations. Modifications are offered, and you are encouraged to listen to your body. Benefits include: increased muscle and joint flexibility, improved balance, strengthen bones, manage main, reduce stress, meet new friends, and have FUN!
A strength class using yoga-like exercises designed to build muscular strength, improve flexibility, and balance. Focus on alignment and proper technique. All major muscle groups will be worked in each class. Hand held weights are optional.
